Journal of Global Buddhism

Since 2006 I have been a co-editor of the JGB. Established in 2000 as a pioneering open-access online journal, it has since become world-renowned for those studying the globalization of Buddhism, both historical and contemporary, and its transnational and transcontinental interrelatedness. I’m fortunate to work with brilliant co-editors, Martin Bauman (University of Lucerne), Jovan Maud (Max Planck Institute for Social Anthropology), Ann Gleig (University of Central Florida), and Franz Metcalf (California State University).
